Part 5
"Wow!" Freddie said in awe as they broke away."Yeah that about sums it up. Okay Freddie before you say anything because I'm sure you were thinking of..." Freddie kissed her before she could finish.
"No, is the answer to the question. Ever since the day I met you, I knew that there was a connection between us. Seriously, how could I not fall for a girl who loves Jonny Quest."As he said that, Chrissy smiled.
"Good cause the feeling is mutual. So you up for some beach volleyball?".Freddie smiled,
"I am so there. Don't think in She's All That I had a body double do those scenes."Chrissy couldn't help but laugh,
"Well, we'll just see about that. I was just on the volleyball team from middle school to high school". They both sprinted to an open court."I just wanted to warn you, you don't stand a chance".Chrissy stated as she served the ball perfectly over the net.
"Care to make a little wager on that?" Freddie replied as he bumped it back.
"Okay, the person who wins can make the other do anything. Are we okay with the terms?"
"Definitely. And Chrissy, I won't go too hard on you."Freddie chuckled right before the ball hit him in the head. They continued to play until the sun was about to set.
"So, who won?" Chrissy asked.
"I'll admit I wasn't paying attention." Freddie replied with a grin.
"Well
then, I guess we're going to have to agree to do something."Chrissy stated as she
gathered up her things."How about I take you to dinner?"
When they returned to the house, Chrissy showered and then changed into a cute, silk, lavender, Chanel dress that so happened to be Freddie's favorite. Her short hair was put into a beautiful French twist. Freddie, not looking bad himself was in a navy blue Armani suit. For the first time in history Chrissy was the first one dressed. She waited for about a minute before Freddie came down. Freddie smiled,
"So you ready for a night on the town, Gorgeous." In search of a great club, Chrissy and Freddie found a quaint little swing club. Chrissy grabbed Freddie's arm as she walked out onto the dance floor.
"Come on, let's see what you got."Freddie smiled and danced exactly in step with her."Wow! I'm impressed. I didn't think you could dance. But I'm glad you can." Chrissy said right before Freddie twisted her.
"And that's why you love me because I'm always unpredictable?" joked Freddie.
"Oh so now I'm in love with you. Can we say conceited?" Chrissy threw back at him.
"Ha, ha, I so enjoy your humor. But come on, let's go for a walk on the beach." They slowed made their way to the door and walked out onto the street.
They walked silently holding hands down to a deserted, but beautiful
beach. Freddie then picked a single wildflower and gave it to her.
"God, I've never felt better than right now. All my life I've done what was expected of me and now I'm finally doing what I want to do. At Stanford, I've wasted good time majoring in political science when I really want to act and start my own fashion line. Remind me to kick your ass one day." Chrissy voiced. Freddie smiled,
"You know it does hurt to follow your heart. Cause if you're not truly happy, then you've got to figure out what you wanna do". With that, Chrissy turned and started passionately kissing him.
"I think I've found what I like". She said wickedly.
"You're such a tease" Freddie stated.
