Part 6
Chrissy and Freddie remained laying out on the beach looking at the stars for about an hour."It's funny but this reminds me of the one time a whole group of my friends went on a retreat for the weekend at Good Council Camp. This was back in Florida and my friend Tim and I laid out on the dock for hours just looking at the stars snuggled underneath a blanket. Well I guess I'm going to have to settle with you." Chrissy giggled."No but seriously this is fun. But you know what would be better? If we went home and watched some cartoons and movies." Freddie jumped up.
"I am SO there!" They both ran back to the car, Chrissy, of course, going slower due to her shoes.
" It is so great to be home, you have no idea. I guess I just get a good vibe here in LA." Chrissy remarked.
When they finally reached the house, Chrissy instantly ran to the TV. She automatically changed the channel to The Cartoon Network.
" Damn!" Chrissy screamed.
"What? What cartoon is on?" Freddie questioned.
"It's a 5 hour marathon of Cow and Chicken"." God, Speed Racer was supposed to be on now. What are we going to watch?" Chrissy whined.
"I know", Freddie said devilishly." Hunter had said that there was a movie of you in the school play, Romeo and Juliet, from senior year." The blood from Chrissy's face drained away.
"Oh my God, I was so horrible in that!" How did he even get a copy." Freddie pleaded,
"Oh come on, you were probably spectacular and gorgeous."Chrissy had to give into his puppy face,
"Okay, okay but you have to promise me you won't laugh." He motioned to his heart and drew a x over it. Chrissy walked over to the closet and found the movie next to all of her and Hunter's home movies. She then walked over to the VCR and put the video in. She sat back down on the couch and Freddie put his arm around her.
"So what part did you play anyway? Hunter never told me." Chrissy replied grimly," Juliet." Chrissy laid her head on Freddie's lap and he started stroking her hair. They remained silent until the movie was over.
"Chrissy I first have to say that you were wonderful. You put your heart and soul into the character. I finally see why Hunter is ass backwards in love with you because I feel the same way. I know I have to walk away from this."He suddenly realized that Chrissy was way too quiet.
"Chrissy?" He saw she was asleep and picked her up and brought her to her bedroom. He gently put her down and pulled her sheets over her. "Goodnight", he said quietly and kissed her on her forehead. Chrissy barely opened her eyes.
"I love you, too." She whispered but Freddie couldn't hear her.
